The wobla
Tradition since the early 80s
With a big, fat "Good day - good day" welcomed the weekly Bamberg on 30 September 1981 its first readers. With a weekly circulation of 62,200 copies of this sheet display launched in the economic area of Bamberg. Since then, of course, a lot has happened and changed. The circulation rose steadily to now almost 90,000 copies, from the weekly paper was the wobla and the images were more colorful.
But the common thread of the premiere has remained until today: In an entertaining way this "weekly newspaper for the region" to inform its readers about interesting facts from Bamberg and the surrounding area. Whether business or sport, diversions or concerts, Amusing or Annoying - a look into wobla always worthwhile. Add to this the Schorschla, the week rearview mirror and of course the many bargains and offers our business partners who facilitate your purchases with their ads and, incidentally, also secure the wobla future. At this point we would like to once again express my gratitude for all advertisers, readers of the sometimes decades-long loyalty.

For many years, the future of the newspaper is called into question, the one by always loved and adored part of the Internet nail in the coffin of the printed word. Where it is alleged. Over and over again. But you can also see it quite differently. Sure, the "world wide web" many interesting facets: It's fast, anywhere on the globe. This wobla app is the best proof. But a complete replacement for a newspaper that is still getting them free into the house? No, we do not believe. A nice addition. Yes! But nothing more. Sure, we have expanded our portfolio to include a nice and very interesting facet with this app. However, our core business is and remains our printed wobla. Every Wednesday. Free house. Have fun reading! Wobla the team from the bending Hofstraße 15 in the industrial area of Bamberg Hall City harbor!

"Black and white" we would like to continue to bring your home closer. And believe us: We love our Bamberg and our county. Here in the heart of Upper Franconia, we feel really comfortable. And that's why we are also a bit proud that we have made with honest and reliable work over the past 30 years, many friends. Countless nice talks were conducted on the phone or on the road, hundreds of e-mails, see week after week its way into our electronic mailboxes: Notes, messages, event tips, one or the other thank you, but also constructive criticism and suggestions!
